05 / Key Decisions
Key Decisions
Internal tools have captive users
Nobody churns from an internal platform — they just resent it and work around it. That makes clarity a higher bar than delight, and every extra click a daily tax across the whole company.
Dashboard first, navigation second
The landing view answers what changed since yesterday. Everything else is reachable from there, so the common path is one screen and the rare path is never more than two.
Integration is where trust is won
CRM sync had to be predictable and visibly reconciled. Users forgive a plain interface; they never forgive numbers that disagree with the system they already trust.
Analytics for decisions, not decoration
Each chart earns its place by answering a question a manager actually asks in a meeting. Everything that only looked impressive was cut.
